Reinstalling does not help. I only worked for a few days when I went from 1.0 to 1.1 and 1.1 to 1.2. Reinstall 1.2 does nothing unfortunately :/

Hi, do you have turned on some antivirus or firewall solution (especially Microsoft Security Essentials)? If yes, try to turn off or disable it and do another test. From logs is clear that simple operations takes too much time. It can be caused by very slow CPU or by some process(es) consuming your CPU time.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to help me. I do have Microsoft Security Essentials installed. I uninstall it and try again. The CPU is a Core2Duo and there is no other process running. Like I said before it works great for a few days after every OV version update, and before OV 1.0 I had no problems.
No other plugins suffer from this slowness, like MyTVSeries and Videos. I'll try without MSE and report back

Update:
I uninstalled Microsoft Security Essentials and now it works again!! No delays, no nothing.
Just hope that it sticks this time Thanks again for the tip.

I am sure I stated it before, but if you guys don't learn to attach all logfiles (especially MPUrlSourceSplitter.log and MediaPortal.log) as well, we will not even look at your problems - as we cannot find all relevant information.

Im guessing thats also directed at me? I looked at page 1 of this thread and followed the guidelines for bugreporting. No where does it state which logfiles should be attached. My log folder contains 124 seperate log files. All i can do is guess as to which ones you need. You might have stated before that MPUrlSourceSplitter.log needs to be attached, but most people do not trawl through 38 pages of forum posts to find this sort of information.

I appreciate the time you put into this plugin and understand it's unpaid work and something you do in your free time. If you do get a chance to look at the issue, 3 fresh log files have been attached. If not, i can live without it, however i highly doubt i am the only one encountering this issue.

Don't know if this the right place to post but if it isn't I'm sure someone will point me in the right direction.

I've put together a set of logos for all the English sites in Online Videos. If there's people who would prefer the set with a transparent background so as you can use your own please let me know.

These Icons seem to be very specific to the skin you are using. You can point the skin author to them, so he can include them into the skin media files (a skin can override the default Onlinevideos Icons). I try to keep the default ones generic (transparent) so they fit a bit to every skin.

I originally did the logos for the Avalon skin using the background template supplied by Wonkyd. If I create another generic set with a transparent background where is the best place to post?

No url, i get this A LOT.. Why, it plays fine on youtube site..
its like 45% of the time i want to play a file i get the no url error.

Here is all my logs.

OV has done this for a long time, all versions, i wonder why this is?

The log of the source filter says:

CurlDebugCallback(): received HTTP header: 'HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden

How are you accessing that video on YouTube? What video in specific is that? Does it happen on any of the YouTube videos in the Top Rated category? If it only happens lately, maybe YouTube has changed some things for certain videos.

I know this won't solve your overall problem, but some of the sites are time specific, such as Wiziwig where their streams are only available an hour before broadcast although they will be listed sometimes weeks in advance.
