I have tried to install MediaPortal 2.0.0.rc1 and the TV-card is working but the screen around the TV is sometimes flickering and there is no sound whatsoever. When I try to run "My Music" or My Videos" I get sound but not from the TV-Card.

I tryed PCM but it still did it. I just don't get it, cause the processor power is not at 100 %. But i ended on giving up and change the card to another softwaqre one i had lying around.

Sorry to say but it wont work. You need to use something like a girder to control both MP and your external player. Unless someone write a output devicemapper plugin with mediaplyer classics support.
I'm using also a x10 remote with inputdevicemapper . If you use internal players that is ok but external programs no way.

I think I used NVidias video decoder and DVD navigator. AC3 audio decoder.
I have not tried DVD playing anymore, I like my stand alone DVD player, and use MP mostly for TV and recording.

Since you havent filled out the support template, the best we can do is guess. So perhaps you have your speakers hooked up analogue and your codecs arent decoding the AC3 track? Check the codecs your using and set them to decode to stereo/surround.
