Just when i play videos in MP i get no Purevideo icon in the taskbar.

Problem resolved by upgrading the original video drivers with ATI Cataloyst 6.6 ones (even if the upgrade is quite painful due to a bug resolved with a tool in this page: http://driverheaven.net/patje/ ).

I solved it somehow.
Thx for the answear, i solved it myself few hours later, but hopefully my post will help someone else. =)
I removed every codec pack, and MP.
Made a clean installtion of MP and selected MPV/MPA.
Downloaded "DirectShow FilterPack 2.1"
Installed MPV decoder and CDXA.
And tested it, without really knowing...

theres also an option in the powerscheduler plugin to use extensive logging. Set that and then check the mediaportal.log file to makesure it is setting the wake up time correctly. Don't forget to turn the extra logging off when you are finished.
Also, in the mediaportal.log file it should be listed when windows sends a pm event...
