I'm getting a weird issue with recording. I'm using 2.0 RC4 and also PVR scheduler. I have media portal running and its on the home...
Thanks for all of your help flipger...it works amazingly now...so simple i feel like an idiot. Its always humbling when your a noob at something, i'm so used to knowing how fix computer problems lol. But thanks again for your help

Well, you need to give us some more clues....what is the exception error message?
You could also fill the support template in manually, so we at least know what configuration you have...
Have you checked the MediaPortal requirements? Notice that it is not supported on Win2k.

I am getting an exception every time I try to run MediaPortalSupport.exe.
I've tried it on XP and 2K machines with the same...
Not sure whats in SP2 MP8 or MP9 ??
Either way i think ill install mp10 and install those three needed patches for DVb-t and HD Tv and video playing. Now where did i put them HMMMMMMMM.
Loveing the no crashing and tv no quiting of the new SVN build :)

Hi, thanks for your reply, I thought that might be the case. The always on top option was checked in configuration but this was what was causing the problem. I have managed to get around the problem by turni9ng that feature off and downloading a small application which pins any window to be "always on top".

I know that Radeon 9800 Pro supports VMR9, but I always gets alot of tearing. And it seems to me that DX9 exclusive mode don't help. I am not sure, but I think it has something to do with that I am runing in clone mode.

Ive had some conflicting info here, I use ffdshow as my decoder for nearly all formats except mpeg2 and h264 what id like to know...
I use FFDShow and select XVID for decoding XVID/DIVX4/DIVX5/FVFW,FFDS and other MPEG4 in the FFDShow video decoder configuration.
Have you tried something like Graphedit to check what codec is being used, might be something else is being used instead.
All I have installed, FFDShow 20050803, Nvida [for DVD], AC3Filter 0_70b, XVID...

I would like MP to automatically switch to FullScreen 800x600 in the second display(tv) on startup. Can this be done with a config...
I can't seem to find any one player that can play each file correctly. I did manage to get VLC integrated nicely, but I have since axed it due to poor video quality of divx/xvid rips, and because for some reason it cannot seem to get saturation correct between different codecs. So I'm off searching again.
