why do you need a special sound card to re-encode the audio to dts, lots of codecs can do this can't they?
you use the word pass through and volume control within the PC this doesn't make sense, if you adjust the gain then you are not using pass through you are re-encoding which is different to pass through.

I got problems again. Not the same message, just the client froze until I stopped the TVService and MySQL service on the server. After restarting those services, MySQL first followed by TVService everything works as it should on the clients. TVserver and client logs attached.

I have the exact same problem. Last tuesday three recordings were pre-programmed to start at 21:00. One channel was dvb-t and the other two were analog. Anyway I am trying to scan for DVB-T channels in my area (Attika - Greece) and TV-Server doesn't find a thing.
Note Hauppauge own application, finds the four digital channels fine.

I switched back to ShortCuter plugin. The buttons of my remote are now MUCH more responsive! With Generic Keyboard/Remote Input Plugin it was like my batteries were almost empty.
Also I don't have the problems I mentioned here.
BTW I also tried IRSS but that didn't work for me. (IMON PAD with Silverstone ML02 case).
