the artistview works very well. but in some cases i would be nice to have the "albumartist view" working cause that would filter all tracks of the samplers/compilations out. if they are all listed the list of artist becomes realy huge. it would be much more clearly when they woulnd be :cool:

It looks like a GUITextControl can receive the focus even if it only displays one page. I would see it as a bug since nothing is actually selectable or clickable in the GUITextControl. I think a GUITextControl should only be able to receive the focus if it displays...

Seems to have worked for most people - I certainly haven't had any problems with sound drop-outs since using ffdshow. As to whether it's the only fix, I don't know. In terms of configuring it, I just leave all the devices, etc. as the default.

if you are not using TV Server. You can check the option "minimize to tray on exit". This way MP will not close on exit (eg. through ALT-F4) it will minimize to tray instead and therefor still record. Right click on the icon will allow you to bring it back to fullscreen.

It's nothing to do with processing\memory power, it's all graphics related, so they need to fully support dx9 with at least 128mb of video memory.
No experience with your setup, but as i said try and see if there is a graphics chipset update, has been known to work wonders.

Fixed!
Luckily I was able to solve this myself by doing the following:
1) Uninstalling SP3
2) Reverting to older catalyst drivers
3) Uninstalling Hauppage TV card driver
After a reboot it was still installed but the TV channels had started working again. After that I could reinstall SP3 without a problem.
