Try to use your normal configuration for the codec (the best i found is Mpc for Mpg2, CoreAvc for H2S4,Mpa per l'audio,Mpc per Divx,Xvid)
and then add in movies,post-processing , ffdshow, enabling only the subtitles feature.
Disable the subtitles features in Mp and let ffdshow handle it.

I didn't check but I'm pretty sure it is enabled. Perhaps I need to set it to be "in home" and not "in plugins" first and foremost... I'll try that out tonight.

I have found the cause of the stuttering: It was the NVidia Video Decoder. When I use FFDshow, there is no stuttering.
