To make a long story short: I got the problem solved when I enventually changed back from the PicoPSU to the original Silverstone PSU. No more reboots, but fan noise is back....

I suspect it's no Hauppauge remote, but an MCE remote. That's why some buttons work. Enable MCE remote in MP's config and be happy... (I guess)

I don't have any personal experience with foxtel connecting to MediaPortal, but from what I have read, you need a card that has hardware encoding on the video input - software encoding cards require a pretty beefy PC to give stutter-free capture.

The tests have been done with hybrid Medion Card :SAA174 DVB-T and 7134 (Analogue).
-> No problem with TV Channels with SAA174...
My computer seems to crash now every 12-48 hours, since I installed the KB918005 update. I thought this might be down to all the other stuff I tried prior to this update, so I did a clean reinstall of XP and SP2 and then tried again with this patch... still the same :(
