I am having a problem that during playback of a recorded movie the system goes on standby w/o notice.
Sometimes this happens after 0,5min, sometimes after ~20min or in between.
After restarting, I can start the movie again at the point where the system stopped.
I am using Power scheduler++ and MP 1.2.3.0.

I'm trying to setup an automated task that if MP is quit then an event occurs (such as loading another program) but in task scheduler in Windows 7 Home it doesn't list Mediaportal as an application. Is there any way to get MP showing as an application in either event viewer or task scheduler?

Thank you for the information. I've actually went ahead and installed the MovingPictures plugin and it definitely helps a lot. I had other reasons for using the shortcut links when viewing my movie library from other machines not running mediaportal, but I think over time they might become obsolete.
