I don't think it can be stopped as Mediaportal is an opensource project. As long as they follow the conditions of the licence. Don't get wrong I don't agree with people selling the software, that is available for free. Caveat Emptor.

I set some MCE Remote keys for my functions - for example "Guide" for audio language switch.
In 1.0 and 1.0.1 all worked fine, but after upgrade to 1.0.2 all keys work only as default functions. So now, when I press "Guide" key, I get guide screen.
I tried remove and create again this key in setup, but got the same result :(

Well the other week i decided to make my htpc a bit more flashy and the final step in this was too install the channel logos for UK,

If it's a usb remote, then its mce, if its a silly jack that plugs into the tvcard, then its hauppauge, hope that clears things up.

That really does sound like something corrupted the 1.0.2 install, all my recordings switched between the two versions fine, the only thing that seems to have been "common" so far, is on some upgrades tvservice.exe is missing, but that would not affect you, as you could still record and watch them, so I'm puzzled on that one.
