I don't know if i'm alone with this problem, but since I installed last SVNs the quality of the TV is bad with TVE3, if I use TVE2 without timeshifting the quality is the same, but if I activate timeshifting, I've got a great quality.
Do you know how I can resolve this problem, I prefer use TVE3 .

apparently I'm too stupid to install nightly TVE3 builds without killing my recordings database.
This is what I did (using MS SQL as database engine):
1. Uninstalled TV-Server
2. Uninstalled MP-Plugin
3. Installed new TV-Server
4. Installed new MP-Plugin

Hey I was wondering how fast a MP+TV3 client changes channels and enters into cable TV mode. I tried GBPVR and it takes like 10 seconds for the client to start streaming video, and almost as long to change channels! The server is obviously much faster.

You can try to export the channels (in tvserver configuration) and re-import later...

the plugin tries to connect to the machine it is installed on. If it doesn't find a TV-Server there it will ask you for the Hostname / IP of the TV-Server.
You would have found out if you simply had started the TV function...
