It is possible by copying the database and thumbs directories from one installation to another and by creating the shares folders in MPConfiguration the same as before. Just take note that the team recommends a clean installation especially if you are troubleshooting some problems.

If there are any channelID's referenced in the GroupMap table that don't exist in the Channel table, apparently it errors out. I cleaned out some junk channels and missed removing them from the channel map. Once I deleted those it came right up!

But what if you record two programmes from the same TS at the same time, will it always use the same card if it can. My experience is that it will use two different cards thus using more resource.

I installed Blue3SmallWide & SimpleMP-Beta-4 skins.
Not sure if they are 100% compatible with the beta & Movingpictures, ... plugin, but at least it seems to solve the memory issue, now playing video.
I guess the latest beta includes bigger skin in the standard package compared with previous versions.

Sorry but we never managed to resolve the problem.
In the end we uninstalled Media Portal, Moving Pictures and Streamed MP after backing up the thumb and database folders.
Then we reinstalled them all using latest versions and added the 'thumbs and databases'.
Then we configured the settings the same as on another machine...

I use a separate partition for timeshifting.
Some times it happen just after starting the tv but some times after a while.
At the specific time can't find anything in the error log but the tv server log gives me ' Controller: StopTimeShifting'

Although the red button is not supported, I believe you can watch the streamed video that is supplied via the red button as those channels are streamed to an individual frequency (301, 302 etc for BBC from memory). You should then be able to rename those channels to "BBC REDBUTTON 1" or something more catchy.
