thanks for that attention, my primary disk is NTFS, so wasn't think about that.
but last i put a second drive in my system and that was FAT32.
So i recheck the recording map and it was that FAT disk

I don't know much about the radeons, but is that card hardware DirectX rendering? I think that would be where the issue is.
MP renders like a 3d game so it doesn't need much CPU power, but needs good gfx power.

Sounds to me that you want the ability to watch and record different freeview channels, I'm assuming thats what you mean.
right you'll need something like the Hauppauge DVB-T 500 or if you have the space for 2 individual cards thats fine, but you then need 2 aerial connections instead of 1.

I think the problem was the ASF, since it is dvr-ms. And I did only search for "record mpeg". This would have given sufficent results. Just leave fillwords like "to" out. :)
