used a good backup odf my system (only driver .net 2 etc ) and started from there, 3.5 sp1 is now correct installed mp 1.02 is running!
Tried it first with uninstalling all .net products, but is was not working and i hate to install .net packages because it costs so much time.....

This should be very easy....
Create a new channel manually and call it something like VCR, then click on the configure channel, and select the input as S-video or Composite...it is as easy as that. Now in MediaPortal just select he VCR channel, and you will be able to record it like any other channel.

I have version 1.0.0.0 RC installed.
When i Try to install the new 1.0.2 version the update choice...

I found that by deleting the file musicdsp.xml from the directory Application Data\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal allows me access to Configuration and I can save new settings.
