Having trouble installing or configuring MediaPortal?
Unfortunately one of the first threads found when I googled this card, was how bad the reception was, even comparing it to their own usb equivalent.
Then of course, there was the lack of MCE support, not a sign of a good card imo.

No problem at all! I can record and watch TV fine with what I have installed now (.1) so I'm happy. .2 sounds like a must have so I can wait without an extra installation.

sorry but I had no problems using mpeg export.
If there is any reason - possibly based on MS bugs - it'll be ok to me, but I like to know it ;(.

Can you try filmerit (link in signature) to see if there are any errors, also make sure you do NOT have the pureaudio plugin enabled, this can screw up mp4 playback.
After that, will need logs, this can be done from your START menu, MP logs collector, upload using the advanced + feature and attach to post.

For some reason it seems that all my setting were not been saved and whenever I was opening the media portal configuration tool it was loading all the setting from a .bak file, anyway, I renamed both, opened MP config tool, made some changes, opened MP, sorted!
