Having trouble installing or configuring MediaPortal?
Hi Tony,
I'm looking for a similar solution for months and didn't get a solution for this:
If the signal is a DD (5.1) it should be sent to the receiver as it is.
If it's only a 2 Channel stereo it should be send analogue to the receiver, so he can handle the upmix.
And finaly (with analogue stereo) it should be normalized...

That apparently makes sp3 complete. Prior to that it appears to MP installer as incomplete I guess.
Now the installation works.
Just for good measure i reinstalled .net 2.0 redistributable.
