Had MP installed and running now for about a week.

thank you very much, i just solved that issue 5 minutes ago! your right, the problem was that the graphic chip only had dedicated shared memory of 64MB... rising to 128MB solved the fullscreen problem.
btw, its an 82945g integrated graphics chip...

Thanks, I will follow the link to the Australian Radio stations, I have eventually worked the streaming address issue out and now use Roku - SoundBridge Support to get url from stations all over the world.
Some file are not playing with Media Portal, (I wish I knew why...) but I get by through trial and error.

I was able to set that but powerdvd does nothing with the file.
I got it. I turned off powerdvd as a linked external player and fixed my codecs.

are you using server or just the stand-alone client?
if just stand-alone client, install server and see if that picks it up. Server plays nice with more cards than client is capable of.

I am using the Hauppauge Nova-T 500 with no problems. I downloaded the 64 drivers and seems more stable now than it was on XP32.
Oh and it works perfectly with the Harmony 785 remote through the Hauppauge IR sensor.
