Nothing has changed in SQLServer config. It was just a simple SVN update. Looked at the Gentle.Config and the only thing that is different is Pooling=false, which I removed.
As for the machines, they are all set to date format year-month-day. Can't understand why SQLServer is rejecting it now and why it was not doing it...

When rename a TV channel the relative column "Name" on "tuningdetail" table are nut update and the recording button in the manual control of SETUPTV.EXE dont record the channel.

I missed your initial post. Sorry.
Anyway, the key difference (I guess) with my system is that the server only has one card enabled - the DVB-T side of the Hauppauge HVR-1100.
The client computer does have a TV card, but the TV server isn't installed on it, so it isn't enabled.

My setup does have only 1 card at the moment, and indeed all channels are already mapped to that card.
Seems to happen only when I leave one of the first two channel in the list (both fta) as last viewed before closing mp.
Restarting the tvservice doesn't have any effect.
I'll try dropping all tables into sql and starting...
