i was using pdvd9 unlocked saf but it was freeze..... with ffdshow i don't have any problem but if i look the filter chain is pdvd9 + ffdshow.... is not a little strange?

My guess is you aren't recieving your HDTV via DVB-T. The Danish free to air HDTV channel is terrestrial and I haven't heard of anyone getting the powerdvd codec to work here. To the author: I have pretty much identical issues on my HTPC. Let's hope the upcoming release of MP fixes the issue with HDTV via DVB-T and stutter/async

That's probably about right on a P4 - my Core2Duo 2.2 GHz runs about 10-20% decoding HD MPEG2 - under Vista neither ATi or nVidia support much in the way of MPEG2 decode acceleration, most of it is done by the CPU (but they support full acceleration for H.264).

Sorry for the double post but with 50 odd views and no replies I'm starting to think I posted in the wrong place - can...
Finally!!! The new GT220 is great... all screens display faster, and most importantly, h264 is perfect with no dropped frames... only issue is the fan noise... i'll look into that later ... one problem at a time ;)
