Ended up doing a complete uninstall (including DB and all user settings) and reinstall, and this seems to have fixed the problem in TV Server. I don't really like having to do this because it takes several hours to rescan, rename and regroup my TV and radio channels. Oh well...

You can try but I don't think you will find it a good solution to save recordings directly to the NAS. I remember trying that once a long time ago and it was just not stable enough. Maybe you just want to consider a simple freeware sync program.

I tend to use the top menu with its little 'X' at the end of the bar to exit MediaPortal. Or the root menu also has a button with an 'X' on it that does the same thing.

Well I will try RC2. And since it looks like there are some issues, the front page is saying to do a clean install. So, I guess we will see where that puts me. I really hope that it does correct it. found it myself. It's a problem in ffdshow, just use a different codec for MPG2 and you'll be fine.
