Thing is you won't be able to upgrade from beta/svn to the rc so you have to decide if you want to wait for rc or reinstall once it has been released.

A plugin can be set to show in the Home menu or in the Plugin menu.
Open MP Configuration, go to plugins, right click Moving Pictures and make sure Show In Home is selected.
Then also remember that MediaPortal have a Basic Home as well. That setting will NOT influence the fact if it is displayed on the Basic Home...

As far as I know its not supported...you have to get a TV-tuner device....and preferably one with a hardware encoder-chip if you use analogue inputs. Search the forums, this question has been asked many times...the answer always being no.

You might be able to download a tool which can kill network connections which you can get MP to run prior to hibernation (I think there is an option to run a command prior to hibernate - I am away at the moment so I can't look at my own HTPC).
