OK i have enabled PowerScheduler in TVService Config and PowerScheduler Client in MP Config.

When i watch TV the PC doesnt hibernate after 20 minutes.. this ist OK...

Recently i have this problem, Mediaportal and the all system don't work fine after standby, they are very slow and the command by keyboard and remote are repet a lot of time itself.
This problem is very recent (is a new entry:S ) i never had it.
I don't know if it is a Mediaportal problem...

I tried this today but when browsing through the photos fairly quickly MediaPortal still "partially" becomes unresponsive.
And when I mean browsing, I don't mean going through the folders, but instead starting up one photo and then going from there (a slideshow....but not using the slideshow button).

You need to use database rather than shares. This ought to solve all of your problems. Spanned disks are recognised if named appropriately so you don't end up with Eragon 1, Eragon 2 etc. You just need to tell MP in config where the files are, and it will scan them for you.

I had the exact same problem and tried alot of searching.
Eventually I found that the problem was caused by the DivX codec. You have to remove all menu navigator settings in the DivX configuration and also the DivX Watermark.
When I did this all worked fine.

I had exactly that happen yesterday. Got the "skin outdated" message on any skin I tried. Very annoying because that means the machine cannot start up without using the keyboard :growl:

Try disabling all screensaver and power saving functions in windows. It may be that the computer is trying to blank the screen or turn on the screensaver and then MP fights with it to not and causes the video to hang for a few seconds.

My Music is not adding new albums anymore when I click Update Database from shares. In both MediaPortal as MediaPortal Config. I use only flac and and store these files on a NAS through UNC.
