Regarding your point about Recording. I agree, for me I would like VCR-like control. In fullsreen TV, press record to start recording (with no time limit), icon appears. Stop stops recording, then using Play, Pause, Stop, FF, RW, etc., it should be possible to view the last recording without having to navigate through Recorded TV...

If you want to use it that way, with Girder or the Hauppauge app, you're right... But that really sucks, there's a better solution. :wink:

If you are watching a show with timeshifting enabled, and you half way through it decide you wanna record it, it should add the part already timeshifted with the recording.

How about getting the remote keypress to disable screensaver.
Scenario is that main MP screen is on, and you walk away. Come back 2 hours later and SS is on - great that how it should be. Now press a key on the remote and SS should go away back to MP. That is not happening now.l

Yep the My TV, Recorded TV window is pretty cluttered at the moment...
perhaps we could sort these shows by .....Watched, Unwatched
we also need to be able to rename them inside MP as renaming them outside MP looses the file from the database
