I think you're looking @ the wrong file. It's NOT the MediaPortal.exe.config which you can find in C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal, but the MediaPortal.xml which you can find in your C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal folder.
