I have an issue with one of my TV clients. But one after the other:
I had to exchange a defect DVB-S card of my TV server...
IFC's scan intervals and many other options can be adjusted within the config, all options are explained rather well.
As for the crash, I would suspect the audio codec or renderer, I would try others and see if that fixes it, if not, check the logs for a clue, an exception should show right at then end when it crashes.

Problem solved. Since the sattelite had switched names, all the new channels where in another group, not the old ones.

i solved my problem yesterday. The reason for my problem was wrong frequency. MePo updated the channel when it was found at another frequency even if there was bad signal at that frequency. I solved the problem by reducing every channel that stuttered by 1 MHz.
