When using ffdshow there is the possibility to change the audio delay when playing a video in MePo.
When using LAV the slider's still there, but it cannot be moved.
I ticked the audio delay checkbox in LAV audio settings, but the only way to change the delay is to change it there.

After thinking about this, I have now found out the cause. The first thing I did was add the .m4v extension to the video extensions list in MP and I had no problems playing these file types at all.
