sleep mode doesnt seem to work on his pc. could be driver or bios-settings. try put it on s1 instead of s3 in bios and see if it works then. at least u can turn on/off ur pc with it. changing the powerbutton action to sleep as stated in above howto by rekenaar.
edit: to turn it off set powerbutton action to do nothing.

I had removed all the other files but what I had done wrong was renaming GUIPrograms.dll to old-GUIPrograms.dll and not GUIPrograms.old causing MP to load it anyway. Sorry, my bad :/

I think what is happening is that the broadcasters on that satellite are not following the DVB standards. They are reusing the same ONID + TSID + SID combinations - *very* bad behaviour for a provider. ONID + TSID + SID is meant to be a *unique* way to identify a channel. I did not figure out why because once IPV6 was disabled, all channels tuned successfully with practically no delay. My only guess is that WHIODT was the last channel I tuned before enabling IPV6...but that is merely a guess. Again - thank you for all your work! I am very happy with 1.2!
