Thanks very much you guys, .NET indeed was the culprit! I uninstalled my complete .net configuration (using a nifty 'dotnetfx cleanup tool' by the way), installed everything from 3.5 SP1 up and now I finally have 'My TV-series' back. Thanks again!

If i select an episode and change the name in the "Episode Name" field then i can do this and it is shown in blue colour. But somehow it not gets updated in MP. I remember this worked sometime ago. Using the latest TV Series Version atm. Am I missing something?

You can of course alter the parsing regex to fail on certain subdirs. Since you mentioned regex I assume you know what it is and how to modify them. If not pls post some concrete examples, should be relatively easy to do.
Doing so, will however prevent you from automatically getting updated parsing regex when the plugin is updated...

Sabnzbd creates temporary folders for unpacking in it's destination folder(i.e. %:\Tv shows\UNPACK_), during this process...
I hate this problem..happens all the time. Quick fix, is to remove the invalid chars (looks like the '>' and '<') from the korean series description and then save it. It will take about 15mins to propagate to the API.

yep it does make a difference as there has been massive improvements in that area in later builds of 2.6.x.

BackupSettingsMP plugin was the cause
1. disable it in the MP config
2. enter the MP install dir <drive>:\install-dir\plugins\process\
3. physically remove BackupSettingsMP.dll + BackupSettingsMP.exe
4. fire up the MP config
5. test MY-TVSERIES config => works now

I don't see how TSReader can not be registered, when I'm able to watch Live/Recorded TV and videos OK.
I've just checked today's logs (with 2.6.6 installed) and I can't see any Exception errors in those, so maybe whatever was wrong got cleared up when I updated.

I've recently done a fresh install of XP and MP, so I think 2.6.3.1242 is the only version of MPTVSeries I've installed on it...

Thanks for the info, I played with a bit and it works like a charm - it does not support foreign languages well, by the way (only propose "WATCH MY", "BROWSE MY"..., regardless of the language chosen in MePo config).
Not a big issue, as the field can be freely writtent, just a small point to remember when editing...

In my infinate visdom i f....d it up. So i had to reinstall MP from scratch. And it took a while...
For some reason it seems to work now. I have been able to get the manual episode importer to work.
I have no ide why it works now and not before...

I have had the same problem. MediaPortal will use 100% of the processor. Deleting the tvseries datatbase fixes it.
I am running MP 1.1.1 and MP-TVSeries 2.6.4.1256.
