Just to let you know, I raised the issue over on the MP-TV Series forum and ltfearme, very kindly, provided me with a test MP-TVSeries.dll file that has completely stopped the stuttering that I was getting.
It looks like MP-TV Series was not detecting Live TV as a fullscreen video...

You can rename channels freely. In TV Server configuration:
1. Go to the TV Channels section.
2. Select a channel.
3. Click again on the name after a second - the name should become editable.
4. Add the virtual/logical channel number.
5. Rinse and repeat.

Perhaps you could post your TV Server logs so I can cross check the tuning details. The NOVA HD-S2 is pretty picky about them.
1. Open TV Server configuration.
2. Click "open log directory" in the top left corner.
