I have been having freeze issues since 7two also. It grabs the epg fine on wintv (I have a HVR-1300) but for some reason 7two does not in mediaportal.
I can't see any errors in the epg log for 7two.I will disable it and try a commercial epg or web epg.
Hopefully this will stop some of the frustration I am having

I had the same issue a while ago in 1.0.1 and cannot remember what was the problem. since 1.0.2. it's gone. And that happened when I switched to 1080i channels. 720p where no problem at all.

Thought i'd post an update to this. I have solved the problem, turns out both crashes were caused by something different.
Crash #1 where MP just stops was resolved by installing MP1.1 Beta + Latest SVN + Latest 4tr patch (Only client side, server still running 1.0.2)
