I'm not sure what you are expecting from us here! The questions you ask would be more inline with what an OEM might ask of a disk manufacturer but given the disks are now more that 10 years old and you have neither supplied the make of the CRT nor the strength of the EMI I doubt you will get a definitive answer anywhere.

Am a long time MP1 user, and have successfully been running the x64 version since it first appeared.

So, habe jetzt mal die komplette MP Installation deinstalliert und wieder installiert und nur den Videio-Ordner hinzugefügt.
LAV-Filter installiert und Default-Device im Audio-Renderer eingestellt (war auch vordefiniert).
Und gleiches Problem, MP stürzt beim Beenden eines Filmes ab.

Everything looks good so far...
maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
Preferable with as much disabled as possible
also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything)
maybe other programs competing for resouces?

Since over a year my MP sometimes stucks while showing the welcome screen. It started once a week now it happens every second time...

OK....perhaps impatient of me I know, but went for a full reinstall....and now up and running once more.
Have no idea what was at the root of this problem....still wondering if it may've been due to a Win11 update earlier this week?

Have used MP1.38 64 successfully since it's introduction.....now something has changed.
Video folders are still present.....but now...

- 4 The Record 1.3.3 seems to no longer exist
