Basically with no plugins and skin MP goes to sleep and wakes up perfectly.
However with a skin on (MPStreamed & Titan Cherry) MP...
I though everything was going well until I got an SQlite Unhandled error everything I try to play a video. I though it was because the TV-Series plugin, but got rid of that plugin and used videos instead, but still getting the errors.

Are you shure that Windows is recognising the disk itself? If you enable autoplay in windows, is Windows MediPlayer starting and playing the disk if you insert the CD? Otherwise, it's not a MP problem..
