This was a upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4. Database was using mysql localy on this computer.
My MP Tv server service is missing from services.
When i try to start MP config it ask if i want to start mediaportal service and i do.
And windows 7 Firewall is turned off

I just did a clean install of windows 8 Pro x64 and then added MP 1.4. Things were going fine for the first week...
I thought I would finally try Windows 8 now the new preview 8.1 has come out. I like my desktop.
Built a new machine with a fresh install of Windows 8.1 and went to install Mediaportal.
