I recently updated to MP 1.4 from MP 1.3. I have a movies database of approx. 194 videos - mostly MKV. In the Videos (MyVideo)...
If you want to be safe, you can make a copy of your C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal folder.
The .xml files in there contain the settings for MediaPortal Config (MediaPortal.xml) and the plugins you have installed.
Titan.xml should contain your Titan settings.
If you want to be safe, you can make a copy of your C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal folder.

Wow, that was quite a while ago.
IIRC, when I didn't receive a reply, I backed up my computer and went ahead and installed anyway. Best of my recollection, nothing was effected. DirectX does not allow "downgrades", so either the installation failed or Media Portal simply refused to work upon installation.
Either way, I never got it...

I uninstalled everything...and removed associated data files. After a restart....instal proceded (MySQL 5.1 installed successfully this time) and everything looked good!!

It is certainly possible that TV Server triggers a problem by interacting with the driver in a way that it doesn't expect. The difficulty is then to find out exactly what it is that we're doing that the driver doesn't like. This is really tough because logs generally get lost in a BSOD.

This configuration is used to tell TV Server which channels each tuner can tune. You'd want to link all your channels to both ATSC tuners...
