Having trouble installing or configuring MediaPortal?
So all kinds of plugins and stuff are installed with the MPEM now, even the ones for the TV-server. So why isn't the MPEM installed along the dedicated TV-server? How am I supposed to install MPE1 packages now?

Updated both client and server to 1.4 and I get EPG data now on the client but when selecting a channel it just starts in the small box for a couple of seconds before freezing and when I tried to close MP it hung.
EDIT: Fixed it by updating the skin (PureVisionHD) :)

You can not run 2 copies of mp at the same time, but you can backup the following directories (copy or rename them):
C:\ProgramFiles\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal and TvServer and
C:\ProgramData\Team mediaPortal\MediaPortal and TvServer
You might have a risc in destroying your TvDazabase, so pleas backup that one.

You can use the "add S-Video channels" button in the scan section to add one channel for each input (eg. composite, s-video etc.).
After, that if you want to set up a blaster then you'll need to follow a guide like this...

hi - this problem somehow solved itself. The only thing that I did / changed was running DVBCineCOnfig and loaded a transponderlist to MediaCenter. (MediaCenter is disabled on my system). Doesn't seem logical that this is the real solution. But it's the only guess I could make.
