I see that you use AVG security software. Have you configured AVG to trust TV Server and leave the tuner drivers alone (in the past I've seen security software load a component as part of tuner drivers, and that prevented TV Server from using them).

Anyway, the problem is almost certainly a system DirectShow problem related to registered codecs (eg. codecs are registered that don't actually exist on the file system etc.).

After update my Clientinstallation to mp1.17 i get an Error while Starting MP.
I did a clean uninstall, cleared everything inc SQL - downloaded and installed the 'regular' MP 1.16 and still the same thing happening when scanning.
I'm just formatting the SSD now and will start from a clean install of Win7. There is some junk on the server that I didn't use anyway, so hopefully, that should sort it.

Well. It seems I spoke too soon. It works intermittently.
When checking the log, it succeeds to do a diseqc-command now and then on port AB. AA works fine.
Edit: now it won't work anymore. Weirdest thing. Worked fine on the first channelsearch and then I could tune channels for a while. Now nothing.
