Same problem over here. On Media Portal 1.0 the system detected the TV Server Configuration as requiring Administrator priviledges. With 1.0.1 it can run in User Mode, but in this mode it will not work. I don't know how to fix this, except forcing it to run as an Administrator with the context menu.

Problem solved.
It seems I jumped to conclusions too soon. Further experimenting showed that the problem doesn't affect all encrypted channels, but only the 5 channels on DVB-T frequency 818.00 MHz. On FireDTV Viewer these 5 channels are on a different frequency.

Did this ever get fixed? v1.0.1 still seems to have issues. Seems crazy to have to uninstall and clean just to add/remove tv cards.
TV Server seems to function OK with the problem, but as errors are logged, the log file is growing at a great rate. Also the error is logged even tho the card is not selected for use by MP.

In the TVServer config\general, there is a setting to delay detection of TV CARD, this needs to be set to a minimum of 20 seconds (depends how fast your system is), you may have to experiment with this, its because the t500 is 2 usb tuners using a via usb controller, thats why the delay is needed :(
