OKay I managed to get the TV Server Configuration up with no errors this time. I installed latest SVN and I guess it's fixed. Unfortunately, I still have problems with TV Server trying to detect my tuner cards. I will open a new thread on that though.

I am trying to understand the limit of recordings and transponders. Is it true that for example if I have one firedtv(DVB-T)...

Remove the FDECSA.dll.
The MDAPIFilter is used with sat programs like Mytheater to add the emunation or vplug plugin.
Neither are supported with Media Portal for obvious reasons.
If you are scanning free to air channels then those plugins and the MDAPIFilter is not required.

I'm using the Powerscheduler plugin (the latest version in the first post in this thread) with MP 1.0.0 and all is well...
If you've got the latest Powerscheduler with the 'network monitor' section you should be able to prevent standby when network traffic is above a certain level which could work for VNC.

Same thing here, and there are a few posts on the forum which suggest the same problem, no reply so far.
It seems to happen really only on SkyStar2 HD cards, after a "TwinHan DiSEqC cmd:4 0 0 0 E0 10 38 FE 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 failed 0x8007001F" in TV server log, after that it's always "Waiting for PMT" and it reaches the timeout asking...

I recommend you update to 1.0, I had standby recording failures with RC4 as well, never could find the reason, MP1.0 has been great, so I suspect there may have been something corrupted.
A word of advice, make sure this is a clean install, I did not restore any old files, The forth coming 1.0.1 release will let you just upgrade.

TVServer\Client need to be the same release, on the latest 22029, under MPconfig\TV\client, there is a option to "not drop discontinued packets in tsreader" this may help with your stuttering.
installing svn keeps your old settings, these come as 2 exe files, run the MP first, and then the TVserver\client second.
