32 Bit Vista with the same issue was fixed by the Local Host solution. Thanks MS for deciding everyone was using IPv6 or that there was a security risk in leaving the 127.0.0.1 entry. My install still had the IPv6 entry of ::0 but was missing the 127.0.0.1 entry for local host. Thanks for the solution.

i have set up a separate computer for tv, mysql and a client. tv works but to get a channel list takes about 5 seconds. tuning into a channel also takes 3-6 seconds.

I don't remember if this was shte same thing, but I seem to remember something allong the lines of mediaportal needing an ethernet connection connected to work and the workaround was to install a microsoft ethernert loopback adaptor to give you a virtual network connection. I don't have a link candy sory.

I actually have 2 x T500 plus 2 single T's. I also have another T500 lined up and ready to go in. I've found that one of my single T's had problems recording. TBH I've not actually tested having all 6 muxes recording at the same time.

It's most likely to do with the timeshift buffer, which is usually a delayed due to the buffering. You would have to switch to the TV2 engine/single seat to disable it as I don't think you can disable timeshift with TV server (TV3) engine.

The only thing that affects the T500 is the startup delay before tvserver detects cards, also the powerscheduler needs reinitialize tuner enabled.
There should not be any other 3rd party software or hacks needed.
The delay relies purely on how quickly your motherboard processes the usb tuners, if vista user you hear them actually...
