I am unable to get "Create Bookmark" while watching a DVD to work. It seems that it should be simple enough. Okay, then it seems likely that the hissing etc. is triggered by the audio changes in the first 10-20 seconds, and that VLC doesn't handle those changes correctly. You should still be able to see the entire folder when you select 'Shares' View (from the hidden menu). That gives you access to all your music so you can start tagging it properly and do a new import. ;)

Went into TV Server Config>TV Channels>Channels tab and right clicked ITV HD, then edit channel and deleted the Satellite row.
Then went into TV combinations and searched for similar channels on the aerial cards, found the new Satellite ITV HD locations, combined them and hey presto problem fixed
