Hi everyone, i would just like to make my first post on here too say how fantastic MediaPortal is.
I have been using it For 6 years now (from V1.1.1) and it has worked flawlessly.
I only use TV Series and Moving Pictures and both plugins have worked 100%, everytime.
My whole family use on a daily basis with no problems, from my 4 year...

tried schedules direct reload, refresh DVB EPG. I'm stumped.

The solution was the AVR Audio guard in my case too.
Edit: I did not realize till now thar AVRGuard can cause significant CPU load (30-70% on my rig). I switched to SoundSwitch_v2 at the moment...

I think this may have been just a coincidental issue when I tested it some more. My Ceton tuner didn't get paired right so that explains that portion, and my HDHR I think is an issue with rebooting it and the service which caused some issues. I am going to try to get it cleared up this...

Yesterday I was setting up the TV Server for the first time. No issues in initially detecting my dual TV tuner PCI card...
Tried with a custom LAV build from @Sebastiii (0.68.5 git) and got a bit further :)
- Works with MPC-HC (no image corruption) as subtitle engine however no subtitle selection for that sample
- With DirectVobSub I get the subtitle selection however also the image corruption back
So while not perfect at least I can have MPC-HC for...

Upgrading the OS did not solve the problem. I got a new internal HD and reinstalled everything onto it. After that, no more problems.
I guess the lesson is, take the SMART diagnostics for HDDs with some skepticism.
