I always make a point of answering my own questions if I find a solution so here it is...
Deleting C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database\VideoDatabaseV5.db3 solved the problem. It must have got corrupted because MP wouldn't even let me reset it in the Video Database options.

As it turns out, this was a DECODER problem! After changing the default ac3/mpeg audio decoder from LAV to any cyberlink or ffdshow audio decoder, analog radio plays perfectly without syncing problems :) Seems the tsreader fails to sync the audio with LAV audio decoder...

1. Mediaportal is design for using a remote or arrowkeys. But this behaviour i can't confirm.
2. If you are using MP 1.2.3 i can confirm, sheduling wasn't smooth at all. But give 1.3 MP Beta a chance. Scheduling recordings was really improved. No more timeouts.

This means that when you play a file which has HD audio, it will be 'downscaled' to normal DTS. It probably doesn't affect your setup, but you're limited to the non HD Audio formats (which still sound good).
