Also, while playing a file if you press the info button, it will tell you what the format is. I am using MP1.1beta and latest Streamed.

Most movies belong to multiple genres, this is why in version 0.7 Genre is not one of the available sort options. What you really want is to be able to filter by genre, and this will be available in the next release. I know I sound like a broken record in saying this, but it is coming soon. :P

I f***ed up yesterday and thought I had lost all my Moving Pictures db. I found out a way to retrieve my movie list...
You are correct that auto pairing is allready in place, but in my experience, it does not work if you import the movies when mediaportal is running. If we take "movie cd1.avi", and "movie cd2.avi", they will be autopaired if you copy/rip/download or whatever onto your import folder, THEN start mediaportal.

I'm having the same problem. I have one movie that will not move from the Movie Importer to the Movie Manager. I have tried various settings on the Importer Settings tab and restarted MediaPortal Configuration but the same thing still happens.
