I've been a MP user for many years now and pretty much always got by with forum help on problems but after installing the 1.3.0...
After installing version 1.3 of media portal and switching back to the DefaultWide skin, I find that the layout of the screen is totally messed up. The recorded programs list is overlapping the side menu. I cant be the only one with this problem. But its weird I havent found any other reports of this.

Not sure if this is part of your problem. I find the default "skip delay" = 1500 milliseconds (1.5 sec) too long and reduce it to 500 or so. Maybe modifying this setting will help. See wiki, this in expert mode

Strange DB problem, but I guess it is based on the TV Series db as it is the first in the log. Please try to remove the TVSeriesDatabase4.db3 (c:\ProgramData\Team Mediaportal\MediaPortal\database) - move it to a backup location (in case it is not the culprit).
