Having trouble installing or configuring MediaPortal?
Same problem for me : when windows controls standby it doesn't go standby, when power scheduler controls standby it goes standby even if mp is playing video. I tried lots of different configurations but can't find the solution.

As for all CableCARD tuners, the CAM limit should be one. That is because each tuner can only decrypt one channel. This is noted in our wiki:

That's good news. Not sure how it is working. Maybe it relies on the Colossus driver ignoring any requests to switch to a tuner channel and staying on the inputs you wanted? Doesn't sound the most bulletproof of setups. I hope it keeps working for you. :)

Well, I bought one, and apart from that missing Power button, it's almost as good IMHO. I use the Microsoft receiver anyway, so no big deal. I can get a brand new remote + media keyboard for ~30 Euro on Swedish eBay, but I have no use for the keyboard, so I went with the Chinese one instead.

OK...an update on the problem!
On startup....TV (and RecordedTV) is fine....as it should be....no flashing!!
Once I attempt to play certain .mp4 videos...these plays audio only...and won't stop.
Repeatedly pressing escape...results in MP 'not responding'

TV Server doesn't have a higher threshold. Tuners don't really work that way... at least not with Windows. In other words, there is no threshold to adjust, and TV Server should find just as many channels as WMC.

Please restart the TV service:
Open TV Server configuration.
Go to the manual control section.
Click stop service... then start service.
