Keep MediaPortal always on top (Default: off)
Note that not only does this keep MediaPortal on top of other windows, it also prevents other windows from getting (keyboard) focus. With this setting...

I have it working much, much better now. I uninstalled all the codecs on the system, then reinstalled LAV only. As long as I use UNC paths the TV runs perfectly. There are two resolutions shown in MP when you press [shift]+[1] for Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
The "Display" one should match the resolution of your display.
The "Video" one tells you the resolution of the source video. This might be 720p for some HD channels.
Are you checking the right one?

Those versions are definitely newer than what you'd be using with either MP 1.2.x or MP 1.3.x.

In your original log files it looks like everything is slower than normal - it is strange...
DiSEqC = ~1.3 seconds (!!!)
Submit tune request = ~1 second
Wait for PMT = ~0.5 seconds

Q6600 that recorded log was being used as client to remote TV server. The actual HTPC box is brand new Sandy Bridge Pentium G630 with (not so new) HD 3450 card. So I doubt hardware is the problem. Looking in Process Explorer while Tv is running, there is not much happening on CPU or GPU.

Yes, you can re-enable the plugin. Too bad that the database is corrupted. :(
But the importers in TvSeries are working very good, so that is something you can recover from very fast.
Still... I'd recommend doing at least a weekly backup of all Databases. In that case, it is as simple as copying the files to a other location. :)
