I used to be fairly active with MP, but the past couple of years have been crazy for me - lots of moving and little stability. All the best sort of chaos, but it left me little time to play with MP and I even had to leave my HTPC behind and rely on my laptop and *gasp* live TV...

I'm looking to add a third HD capture card to my existing setup which already consists of two HD-PVR's, a Hauppauge 2250, and an Avermedia A180. I've read that there are driver issues with the colossus and other cards. It's that still the case?
If it's going to cause a ton of issues, I'll just add another hdpvr.

I don't think this is a good aproach. You may have a large DVD collection, but no movie collection on your HD.
If you disable My Videos (wich you don't need because you don't have any movies on your HD), you can't watch DVD. I think a built in player should handle this job unless a plugin wants to do the job.
