The issue could be fixed.
An uninstall of the broken installation is needed. Then download the RC1 again please. It will be named MediaPortal_Setup_1.0_RC1_Refesh.exe

To rule out the tuner card, would a IRTrans remote volume change go to the tuner card? I didn't think it would touch the tuner card at all so I'm thinking it would be more likely the streamed data from the TV-server.

In fact, radio starts properly now, bt all the other problems remain.
