madVR, MPC-HC SubtitleSource, WebM, Photo Gallery filters, Xiph.Org
When you install any of those, take care and check if MP2 movies with subtitles still play - Maybe we can find a breaking point ;)

But (one time) the stop was fast - the MP2 Server service was running all the time I was away - the first stop was fast and no error was logged.

Agreed, I have never has stability issues, I just miss some of the functionality of MP1, but I am sure it is in the works.
EDIT - Also, just ignore this post, and close it up, it was duplicating because I backed up some movies before my drive died and forgot to delete it.
