This seems like an awesome feature. There is already a program on Android called "Android Notifier" (Remote Notifier for Android - Android app on AppBrain) which enables you to get a popup on a regular PC via Growl or the standard program. Generally iPimp with MePo 1.1 works for streaming live tv in my setup except for the occational lock up where I cannot make iPimp stop the stream and change to another channel.
